Corrections Offender Network
Note: It is better to have too little search criteria than too much. For example if you think an offender's eye color is brown but are not positive then select All. If you know the offender's DC number that is the only criteria you will have to enter. First Name/Last Name: In the First Name and Last Name fields, the search will return all matches whose names begin with the letters you type. For example, if you enter Williams, the search will also turn up Williamson (if it matches the other criteria you select). If you enter Will, it will look for Williams, Willis, Williamson, Willoughby, and so forth. This can be handy if you are unsure of the spelling of a name (Clark vs. Clarke, etc.). Search aliases: If this box is checked when a name search is conducted, all aliases will be searched. If this box is not checked, only committed names will be searched. DC Number: This is an identification number assigned by the department. This number is six characters long and is either completely numeric or one alpha character followed by five numeric characters. This is the primary means by which the department identifies offenders. Miscellaneous Drop-Down Lists (race, sex, eye color, hair color, officer, supervision status): If unsure about any of these fields it is best to select All. Height Range: For example: If the offender is 6 feet tall or less, then enter To: 6 ft. This will return all offenders who are 6 feet tall or less. If the offender is 6 feet tall or more then enter From: 6 ft. This will return all offenders 6 feet tall or more. If the offender is between 5 and 6 feet tall than enter From: 5 ft To: 6 ft. This will return all offenders who are greater than or equal to 5 feet tall and less than or equal to 6 feet tall. Inches can be entered to narrow down the search results further. Weight Range: For example: If the offender is 200lbs or less, then enter To: 200 lbs This will return all offenders who are 200lbs or less. If the offender is 150lbs or more then enter From: 150 lbs. This will return all offenders who are 150lbs or more. If the offender is between 150lbs and 220lbs, than enter From: 150 lbs To: 220 lbs. This will return all offenders whose weight is 150lbs or more and 220lbs or less. Age Range: For example: Entering From 21 will return all offenders 21 or older. Entering in To: 21 will return all offenders 21 or younger. Entering From: 21 To: 31 will return all offenders 21 or more and 31 or less. Zip Code: The zip code for the offenders current residence. The zip code you type in will search for all offenders whose last known current residence was within that zip code. Do not use dashes when entering the zip code. Supervision Type: Type of community supervision the offender is serving as sentenced by the court or as released from prison by the Florida Parole Commission, i.e., probation, community control, parole, conditional release, control release, conditional medical release, etc. DC Criminal History Offense Category: This allows the user to search for groups of offenders with a particular type of criminal offense history. This function also works in conjunction with the other search criteria. For example, in the "Inmate Release Information" search, a law enforcement officer could search for offenders convicted of a sex crime that were released to a particular county within the last 14 days. County Of Supervision: This allows the user to search for offenders by the county in which they are currently supervised. Current Location: This allows the user to search for offenders that were supervised in a particular office or state (if the offender served their Florida sentence in another state).
