FDC Assault Advisories | November 1 – November 30, 2020

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On November 2, Inmate Gary Anderson (137273) assaulted an officer by slapping them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On November 2, Inmate Joe Turner (V14149) assaulted an officer by striking them with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: On November 1, Inmate Everod Williams (H48034) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On November 3, Inmate Jeremy Morelli (V17152) assaulted officers by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jefferson Correctional Institution: On November 3, Inmate Colin Conley (170658) assaulted and officer by striking them with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

DeSoto Annex: On November 3, Inmate Rodney Coston (290210) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Holmes Correctional Institution: On November 5, Inmate Robert Parker (D31486) assaulted an officer by slapping them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On November 7, Inmate Jessie Smith (601349) assaulted an officer by elbowing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Mayo Annex: On November 8, Inmate Joseph McNew (R16121) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Mayo Annex: On November 8, Inmate Blake Sienko (P46560) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On November 9, Inmate Alejandro Martinez (M78505) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Annex: On November 9, Inmate Melody Luke (I15560) assaulted an officer by slapping them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On November 10, Inmate Derek Woods (129318) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On November 11, Inmate Jamaal Dunbar (B06235) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On November 12, Inmate Emanuel Edwards (E37896) assaulted an officer by stabbing them with an improvised weapon. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On November 12, Inmate Jason Baez (169800) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Century Correctional Institution: On November 13, Inmate Aaron Reyna (Y43430) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On November 14, Inmate Antonio Sapp (X47195) assaulted an officer by pushing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Annex: On November 15, Inmate Hutch Benjamin (L16707) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Lake Correctional Institution: On November 15, Inmate Norman Beech (097052) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Tomoka Correctional Institution: On November 16, Inmate Delbert Cater (T23973) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On November 17, Inmate Willie Watson (068832) assaulted an officer by pushing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Hamilton Correctional Institution: On November 19, Inmate Corey Graham (B12195) assaulted officers by attacking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Wakulla Annex: On November 20, Inmate Rubin Nero (H27880) assaulted an officer by pushing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On November 20, Inmate Major Brown (J39370) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Florida State Prison: On November 21, Inmate Lenell Barnes (X82201) assaulted an officer by biting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On November 22, Inmate Anthony Boykins (899339) assaulted a staff member and an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Avon Park Correctional Institution: On November 23, Inmate Janero Pratt (G22094) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On November 24, Inmate Reginald Mitchell (992969) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On November 24, Inmate Alberto Soto (T23117) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Lake Correctional Institution: On November 24, Inmate Andrew Pearce (A10743) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On November 25, Inmate Quantez Ealy (C03113) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On November 25, Inmate Michael Antoine (C50649) assaulted an officer by biting their finger. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Lowell Annex: On November 26, Inmate Yeefan Yeanue (X85356) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Walton Work Camp: On November 29, Inmate Akeeme Calloway (A50985) assaulted an officer by striking them with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Baker Correctional Institution: On November 30, Inmate Rashad Hutson (J61955) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
