FDC Assault Advisories | April 13 – April 19, 2021

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Lowell Annex: : On April 13, Inmate Amy Ferguson (F80666) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the stomach. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On April 13, Inmate Daniel Heck (P03138) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

New River Correctional Institution: : On April 14, Inmate Milton Crapps (L71807) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: : On April 16, Inmate Ravalon Matfield (P40232) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Suwannee Correctional Institution: : On April 16, Inmate Johnny Hill (J33728) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: : On April 18, Inmate Lens Toussaint (S31161) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: : On April 19, Inmate Dedrick Boone (134704) assaulted an officer by attacking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
