FDC Assault Advisories | April 20 – April 26, 2021
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Wakulla Annex: On April 21, Inmate Marlon Fleming (X30222) assaulted an officer by headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Century Correctional Institution: On April 21, Inmate Shane Hughes (X76320) assaulted an officer by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On April 22, Inmate Kennegrue Brown (315560) assaulted an officer by striking them in the neck. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On April 24, Inmate Tevin Grace (X90330) assaulted two officers by kicking and headbutting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On April 25, Inmate Frank Palmore (P55974) assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Annex: On April 26, Inmate Walter Danzey assaulted an officer by striking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
