FDC Assault Advisories | November 30 – December 6, 2021

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Blackwater Correctional Facility: On November 30, Inmate Senoia Sanders (G21688) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On November 30, Inmate David Daniels (Q31396) assaulted officers by pushing and striking them in the torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On December 1, Inmate David Dejerinett (134206) assaulted an officer by cutting them with a homemade weapon. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

South Florida Reception Center: On December 1, Inmate Jibri Williams (Y64133) assaulted an officer by striking them on the head with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On December 1, Inmate Maurice Bing (J29837) assaulted an officer by pulling away while they were applying hand restraints. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On December 1, Inmate Gerald Carter (G11093) assaulted an officer by grabbing their neck. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On December 2, Inmate Edward Green (L01016) assaulted an officer by headbutting them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On December 2, Inmate Chris Castor (131965) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Liberty Correctional Institution: On December 2, Inmate John Ellis (C02812) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception and Medical Center: On December 2, Inmate Alfonso Santos (U31858) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On December 2, Inmate Albert Robinson (J43811) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On December 3, Inmate Gavin Mills (K87479) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception and Medical Center: On December 3, Inmate Gregory Childers (N09930) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the leg. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Franklin Correctional Institution: On December 3, Inmate Alex Johnson (S29769) assaulted an officer by hitting them on the chest with a basketball. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the employee and noted injuries.

Reception and Medical Center: On December 4, Inmate Robert Hart (A60610) assaulted an officer by cutting them on the hand and forearm with a homemade weapon. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Wakulla Annex: On December 4, Inmate Anibal Morales (Y40276) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Reception and Medical Center: On December 4, Inmate Deronta Weaver (000344) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On December 5, Inmate Marvin Pace (B02617) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face with a closed fist multiple times. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Wakulla Annex: On December 5, Inmate Courtney Gathers (126339) assaulted officers by gaining control of their chemical agents and spraying them on the face and eyes. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.

Santa Rosa Annex: On December 5, Inmate Curtis Mack (U27061) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On December 5, Inmate Dwan Davis (J21712) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Reception and Medical Center: On December 6, Inmate Vincent Free (U22387) assaulted an officer by striking them in the torso with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Correctional Institution: On December 6, Inmate Patrick Anderson (M49198) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Cross City Correctional Institution: On December 6, Inmate Ladarious Gary (R46450) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On December 6, Inmate Carlos Agosto (T15422) assaulted an officer by pinching their hand against a door. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Union Correctional Institution: On December 6, Inmate Ronald Cordero (D49860) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
