FDC Assault Advisories | August 31 – September 6, 2022
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Lowell Annex: On August 31, Inmate Anetra Austin (158264) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Holmes Correctional Institution On August 31, Inmate Cornelius Lewis (149487) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On August 31, Inmate Ryne Mcknight (G60220) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Union Correctional Institution: On August 31, Inmate Quinton Sylvestre (L38983) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On August 31, Inmate Aaroney Reed (P09051) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Franklin Correctional Institution: On August 31, Inmate Randy Elwood (S15825) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Avon Park Workcamp On September 1, Inmate Alex Moore (S90988) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Union Correctional Institution: : On September 1, Inmate Henry Sanders (H18075) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On September 1, Inmate Brandon Gage (H40401) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On September 3, Inmate Raul Gargia (W70015) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 4, Inmate Luther Walker (W14251) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On September 4, Inmate David Allen (C05123) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Dade Correctional Institution: On September 5, Inmate Chance Fridriksson (R83647) assaulted an officer by punching and kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries
Avon Park Correctional Institution: On September 5, Inmate Marvin Jones (148298) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Everglades Re-entry: On September 6, Inmate Joseph Williams (M64716) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On September 6, Inmate Bakari Parks (T86100) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
