FDC Assault Advisories | September 28 – October 4, 2022
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Taylor Correctional Institution: On September 28, Inmate Daniels Roy (L25255) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On September 28, Inmate Steven Phelps (S30369) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Madison Correctional Institution: On September 28, Inmate Thomas Caron (R49887) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On September 29, Inmate Karl Castro (V28112) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On September 29, Inmate Timothy Malone (G18882) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On September 29, Inmate Lewis Keels (M67105) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On September 29, Inmate Branden Marcelle (H80944) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On September 30, Inmate Daniel Gonzalez (M94062) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hamilton Annex: On September 30, Inmate Rudolph Nathan (920407) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jefferson Correctional Institution: On September 30, Inmate Manley Sigman (Y60532) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lancaster Correctional Institution: On October 2, Inmate Terrence Mack (133752) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida Women's Reception Center: On October 2, Inmate Ayana Brown (D45265) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On October 2, Inmate Marhlau Beliziare (M68880) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On October 2, Inmate Arderius Warren (P37118) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Annex: On October 2, Inmate Jason McNair (I04581) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Putnam Correctional Institution: On October 2, Inmate Charles Holiday (470055) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Wakulla Correctional Institution: On October 3, Inmate Hershell Jones (305044) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On October 3, Inmate Sean Whitfield (V33757) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On October 3, Inmate Matthew Tobin (P34138) assaulted an officer by biting them in the shoulder. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On October 3, Inmate Meguel Rodrigues (K66629) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Union Correctional Institution: On October 4, Inmate Timmy Williams (Y90134) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On October 4, Inmate Benjamin Pattington assaulted officers by striking them in the arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Santa Rosa Annex: On October 2, Inmate Lee Brandon (B41515) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On October 4, Inmate Pathoni Barrett (B08822) assaulted officers by striking them in their faces. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries. Officer recommended to receive outside medical treatment.
