FDC Assault Advisories | March 29 - April 4, 2023
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On March 29, Inmate Brain Crenshaw (K73280) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Calhoun Correctional Institution: On March 29, Inmate Dontaye White (C90118) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Annex: On March 29, Inmate Matthew Smith (N51684) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Holmes Correctional Institution: On March 30, Inmate Jarrod Mingo (A10193) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Taylor Correctional Institution: On March 30, Inmate William Garcia Barbon (Y64040) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On March 31, Inmate Randy White (C08816) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center Annex: On March 31, Inmate Robert Mccloud (U11648) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Calhoun Correctional Institution: On March 31, Inmate Paul Simmerman (R88730) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Annex: On March 31, Inmate Alyna Donelson (C31605) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Liberty Correctional Institution: On April 1, Inmate Trent Harris (C04393) assaulted officers by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.
Northwest Florida Reception Center Annex: On April 1, Inmate Paul Trucchio (B10373) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Liberty Correctional Institution: On April 2, Inmate Virgil Darville (W36738) assaulted officers by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On April 2, Inmate Devon Lannigan (B09186) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 3, Inmate Clinton Mays (Y33851) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Wakulla Annex: On April 3, Inmate Dukene Myrtil (M56396) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officer was sent to receive outside medical treatment.
Reception and Medical Center West Unit: On April 3, Inmate Rashane Jones (130829) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Calhoun Correctional Institution: On April 3, Inmate Christopher Boone (X71143) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Union Correctional Institution: On April 3, Inmate Eddie Thompson (W30300) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On April 3, Inmate Elford Brown (P71648) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
