FDC Assault Advisories | May 3 - May 9, 2023
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Jacksonville Bridge Community Release Center: On May 3, Inmate Darrell Singletary (305126) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On May 3, Inmate Delvin Allen (B11391) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Avon Park Correctional Institution: On May 3, Inmate Sergio Soto (197714) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Union Correctional Institution: On May 4, Inmate Miguel Morejon (099415) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Martin Correctional Institution: On May 4, Inmate Delgado Orestes (395434) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Martin Correctional Institution: On May 4, Inmate Myron William (T76394) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Zephyrhills Correctional Institution: On May 4, Inmate Michael Jackson (V14800) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On May 4, Inmate Isaiah Rogers (N22751) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On May 5, Inmate Thomas Bonifay (P53413) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Tallahassee Community Release Center: On May 5, Inmate Simon Kraft (N29137) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Polk Correctional Institution: On May 5, Inmate Mathew Patterson (129846) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lancaster Correctional Institution: On May 5, Inmate Richard Sweat (888334) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hamilton Annex: On May 5, Inmate Sammy Crenshaw (P41472) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On May 6, Inmate Michael Nelson (T32686) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On May 6, Inmate Shaun Lopez (M59476) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Reception & Medical Center: On May 6, Inmate Andrea Banks (W45007) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Avon Park Work Camp: On May 7, Inmate Justin Bricher (E58998) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On May 7, Inmate Seab Hixson (X63280) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Avon Park Correctional Institution: On May 7, Inmate David Tennant (983295) and Wesley Rivers (527473) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Taylor Correctional Institution: On May 8, Inmate Guadalupe Gomez (187056) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Annex: On May 8, Inmate Desyre Thomas (P70500) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
DeSoto Annex: On May 8, Inmate Tallas Bradley (N03193) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida Women's Reception Center: On May 8, Inmate Megan Mims (N30580) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On May 8, Inmate Matthew Klabunde (U52237) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hamilton Annex: On May 8, Inmate Amari Hair (E54624) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida State Prison: On May 8, Inmate Kwamane Silas (D56709) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On May 8, Inmate Richard Mctear (T44582) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On May 8, Inmate Jacob Hill (J46878) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Holmes Correctional Institution: On May 9, Inmate Alexander Wingard (J61330) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Franklin Correctional Institution: On May 9, Inmate Melvin Irizarry (840237) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Central Florida Reception Center: On May 9, Inmate Damontreyel Larry (S60551) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Columbia Correctional Institution: On May 9, Inmate Timothy Perry (622091) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
