FDC Assault Advisories | May 10 - May 16, 2023
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Central Florida Reception Center: On May 10, Inmate Tevin Rodreguez (D71901) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Florida Women Reception Center: On May 10, Inmate Megan Mims (N30580) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Apalachee Correctional Institution: On May 10, Inmate Carlos Foster (J56953) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Annex: On May 10, Inmate Destiny Boice (N41613) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On May 11, Inmate Cornelius Jones (P02943) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Suwannee Correctional Institution: On May 11, Inmate Joseph Posey (C51047) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Wakulla Annex: On May 11, Inmate Kentrell Hankerson (M69242) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Century Correctional Institution: On May 11, Inmate Ramesh Higgins (K92607) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Lowell Correctional Institution: On May 11, Inmate Laura Mikell (155987) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Santa Rosa Correctional Institution: On May 11, Inmate Corinthian Williams (G24835) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Polk Correctional Institution: On May 11, Inmate Charles Hutchins (V07359) assaulted a staff member. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On May 12, Inmate Zelaya Jersson (F60192) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Northwest Florida Reception Center: On May 13, Inmate Denis Altamirano (M75702) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On May 13, Inmate Cedrick Ingram (C06825) assaulted officers by striking them in multiple area. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff recommended outside medical evaluation. The officers were sent to receive outside medical treatment.
Dade Correctional Institution: On May 13, Inmate Alejandro Ramosagosto (A20996) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On May 13, Inmate Adam Bodie (Q34120) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Jackson Correctional Institution: On May 14, Inmate Derrick Wallace (D98190) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Quincy Annex: On May 15, Inmate Gregory Neptune (Y37145) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On May 15, Inmate Anthony McPherson (P51402) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
