Florida Correctional Officer Arrested

CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Derilyn Dixon. Dixon is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer.

Following the arrest Dixon was transported to the Jefferson County Jail. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney Jack Campbell of the 2nd Judicial Circuit of Florida and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
