Florida Department of Corrections Attends Veterans Florida Expo 2022

ORLANDO, Fla. – Media are invited to attend the 2022 Veterans Florida Expo, in Orlando to interview Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) recruitment staff.

WHAT: The two-day event connects veterans, transitioning servicemembers and their families to all of Florida’s solutions to transition and professional challenges. FDC staff will be present to recruit correctional officers and discuss various career paths within the Agency.

WHY: Our partnership with Veterans Florida sets the path for FDC to transition current service members and veterans into an honorable civilian career. For more information about our partnership see our joint press release with Veterans Florida.

WHEN: FDC media availability will be on Friday, June 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
