FDC provides post-storm update

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — All Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) correctional institutions in the path of the storm remain safe and operational. All inmates have an ample supply of food and clean drinking water. Facility damage assements and repairs are ongoing.

Phone lines, tablets and kiosks may not be operational at some institutions due to ongoing power and internet outages.

Evacuated inmates have returned to their institutions, with the exception of the following two facilities: Tomoka Work Camp and Bradenton Bridge.

Probation offices are operational statewide.

Frequent updates regarding visitation and office closures will be posted on Facebook, Twitter and www.FDC.MyFlorida.com.
