Historical Information: This facility was established in 1985 to house adult/juvenile male inmates.  SFRC is one of four reception centers.  SFRC is the parent facility to SFRC South Unit (SFRC’s Annex), Miami North Work Release Center, Opa Locka Work Release Center, Hollywood Work Release Center (Which houses female inmates), Bridges of Pompano and Pompano Transition Center.
