Historical Information: This facility was established in 1985 to house adult/juvenile male inmates.  SFRC is one of four reception centers.  SFRC is the parent facility to SFRC South Unit (SFRC’s Annex), Miami North Community Release Center, Opa Locka Community Release Center, Hollywood Community Release Center (Which houses female inmates), Bridges of Pompano and Broward Bridge.
