Turnpike directions: Take turnpike to Stuart exit. Take first left onto State Road 714 to stop sign. Turn right onto State Road 609. The institution is approximately three miles on the left side.

Historical Information: This facility was established in 1985 and houses adult male inmates. It was part of The International Exposition Center, which was a joint venture between the Department of Corrections and the Department of Agriculture for the purpose of housing and showing cattle. Martin Correctional Institution consist of: Martin Main Unit, Martin Work Camp, Sago Palm Re-entry Center, Loxahatchee Road Prison, West Palm Beach Community Release Center, Atlantic Community Release Center, Ft. Pierce Community Release Center.
