Directions: Take I-75 to SR-82 (Exit 23). East on SR-82 to SR-29 (approximately 30 miles), then south on 29 through Immokalee to CR-858 (approximately 15 miles). East on SR-858 (approximately 6 miles).

Historical Information: The main unit was established in 1977 and grew to house adult male inmates. In 1999 it was converted to a youthful offender facility for those aged from 19 to 24. The facility ceased operations in July 2002. Hendry reopened as a male adult facility on December 19, 2002. Hendry Work Camp and Ft. Myers Work Camp are under the supervision of Charlotte C.I.
