Doctoral Internship Program

Clinical Psychology


Application Requirements

  1. Enrolled in and in good standing at an APA accredited doctoral level graduate program in clinical or counseling psychology.

  2. Completion of all doctoral training requirements prior to beginning Internship including advancement to candidacy and successful defense of dissertation proposal. Attainment of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology prior to applying is required.

  3. APPIC Application (APPI - Online) submitted by November 29. The application should include, a cover letter, your vita, 3 letters of recommendation, as well as both a treatment or case summary and a psychological evaluation report written by the applicant. National Matching Services, Inc. and APPIC policies and deadlines are also applicable.

  4. If matched to our program, a Centurion of Florida, LLC Application must be completed and submitted to the Training Director. If matched to our program, you are required to have an official hardcopy of your Graduate Transcripts sent to the Training Director.

  5. We are a law enforcement agency.  Arrests and/or convictions will not necessarily eliminate someone from consideration or eligibility and employment is contingent upon a security clearance and full disclosure of any criminal charges, arrests or convictions. Individuals with Felony convictions may not be eligible. We want to clarify that if you match to our program and then are not cleared to be hired, you will not be able to work for us-even if matched to our program.  Please be sure to disclose any and all criminal charges, arrests or convictions on your APPI and update the program if necessary.

  6. This internship site abides by APPIC policies regarding applicant rank and no person at this training facility will solicit, accept, or use any ranking-related information from any intern applicant.

  7. Only applicants who participate in APPIC Match can be matched with our program unless we do not fill our positions in Phase I or Phase II of the Match.  All of our available positions will be offered in Phase I and Phase II of the Match and we abide by all APPIC Match Policies.  You may obtain information about the Match and their Applicant Agreement from the National Matching Services, Inc. website at www.natmatch.com/psychint and from APPIC at www.appic.org. Our National Matching Services site number is 203311.

  8. Applicants will be notified by December 15, via the e-mail address provided in their application (or by phone) as to whether or not they will be offered an interview.
