
Community Corrections is responsible for the supervision of over 150,000 offenders under community supervision. During FY 1999-00, the Bureau of Probation and Parole Field Services collected $26.9 million in cost of supervision fees from offenders on community supervision, $31.4 million in victim restitution, and $17.3 million in court fines and costs. In FY 2000-01, there were 33,501 female offenders under some type of supervision.
