The department is requesting funding for support staffing for Wakulla Annex. The facility will provide additional total capacity of 1,521 beds and is scheduled to open in July 2008. Positions requested will provide support in the areas of internal/perimeter security, shift supervision, control room, tower security, gate security, visitation, food service, medical transport, property, work squad supervision, tool control, lock and key, clerical, classification, maintenance and information technology.
