This request is based on projections for Fiscal Year 2008-2009, which are anticipated to exceed current appropriations. These projections are based on Fiscal Year 2006-2007 expenditures, adjusted for the annualization of Region IV and adjusted for each subsequent year by 7.5%, based on recent literature regarding drug costs.
