Probation: 59,732 admissions

More than half (59.0%) of those admitted to community supervision in FY 2000-01 and placed on felony probation had no prior commitments to either prison or supervision.
Prior Only (42.7%), No Prior (36.6%), Prior Prison and Supervision (19.95%), Prior Prison Only (1.2%)


Drug Offender Probation: 8,644 admissions

Of those admitted to Drug Offender probation in FY 2000-01, most had prior supervision commitments only (42.7%), followed by no prior commitments (36.6%).
No Prior Commitments (59.0%), Prior Supervision Only (25.4%), Both Prior PRison and Supervision (12.2%), Prior Prison Only (3.4%)


Community Control: 13,306 admissions

Over half (55.6%) of the offenders admitted to community supervision in FY 2000-01 and placed on community control had prior commitments to supervision only.
No Prior Commitments (24.3%), Prior Supervision Only (55.6%), Both Prior Prison and Supervision (18.0%), Prior Prison Only (2.1%)
