Probation: 60,286 admissions

More than half (59.1%) of those admitted to community supervision in FY 2002-03 and placed on felony probation had no prior commitments to either prison or supervision.
Prior Supervision Only (24.7%), No Prior Commitments(59.1%), Prior Prison and Supervision (12.7%), Prior Prison Only (3.5%)


Drug Offender Probation: 12,675 admissions

Of those admitted to Drug Offender probation in FY 2002-03, most had prior supervision commitments only (42.2%), followed by no prior commitments (38.0%).
No Prior Commitments (38.0%), Prior Supervision Only (42.2%), Both Prior Prison and Supervision (18.6%), Prior Prison Only (1.2%)


Community Control: 12,498 admissions

Over half (52.9%) of the offenders admitted to community supervision in FY 2002- 03 and placed on community control had prior commitments to supervision only.
No Prior Commitments (25.9%), Prior Supervision Only (52.9%), Both Prior Prison and Supervision (19.2%), Prior Prison Only (2.0%)
