Probation: 59,456 admissions

More than half (56.9%) of those admitted to community supervision in FY 2004-05 and placed on probation had no prior commitments to either prison or supervision
Prior Supervision Only (26.4%), No Prior Commitments(56.9%), Prior Prison and Supervision (13.1%), Prior Prison Only (3.6%)


Drug Offender Probation: 13,729 admissions

Of those admitted to Drug Offender probation in FY 2004-05, most had prior supervision commitments only (41.4%), followed by no prior commitments (40.3%).
No Prior Commitments (40.3%), Prior Supervision Only (41.4%), Both Prior Prison and Supervision (17.0%), Prior Prison Only (1.4%)


Community Control: 10,257 admissions

Over half (53.7%) of the offenders admitted to community supervision in FY 2004-05 and placed on community control had prior commitments to supervision only.
No Prior Commitments (25.7%), Prior Supervision Only (53.7%), Both Prior Prison and Supervision (18.5%), Prior Prison Only (2.1%)
