Felony Probation Most Common Type of Supervision

  • The majority ( 68.9%) of offenders serving an original sentence on community supervision on June 30, 2009, were serving felony probation.

  • The majority of those on post-prison supervision on June 30, 2009, were serving parole (38.3%) or conditional release (52.2% ) terms.
