Inmate Releases

Offenders who committed offenses on or after October 1, 1995 are required to serve a minimum of 85% of their court-imposed sentences. Offenders released in June 2011 served an average of 86.2% of their sentences.

Most inmates were released back to Hillsborough County (2,642 or 7.4%), Broward County (2,465 or 6.9%) or Miami-Dade County (2,212 or 6.2%). For a complete list of releases, visit our website at http://www.dc.state.fl.us/pub/annual/1011/stats/ir_county.html.
