Age of Prison Admissions

  • The average age of admissions was 33.9 years, and the largest age group that was admitted was ages 20-25 (24.2%).
  • The average age of females admitted during FY 2011-12 , was 34.2 years of age, just slightly over the male average of 33.6 years.
