  • In the last month of the fiscal year (June 2012), offenders released from Florida's prisons were serving an average of 85.9% of their court-imposed sentences. (Offenders with offense dates on or after October 1, 1995 are required to serve a minimum of 85% of their court-imposed sentence prior to their release).
  • The average percentage of sentence served for released offenders with a violent offense was 86.6% in June 2012.
  • The average percentage of sentence served for released all offenders has decreased slightly from last year, from 86.2% in June 2011 to 85.9% in June 2012.
