Age of Prison Admissions

The average admission age increased to 34.8 years from 34.5 in FY 2013-14.

The largest age group admitted were ages 20-25 (22.1%).

The average age of females admitted during FY 2014-15 was 35.1, just slighly higher than the male average age of 34.8 years.
