Age of Prison Admissions

The average admission age decreased slightly from 34.8 years in FY 2014-15 to 34.7 for FY 2015-16.

The largest age group admitted were ages 20-25 (20.3%).

The average age of females admitted during FY 2015-16 was 34.9, just slighly higher than the male average age of 34.7 years.
