Correctional Statistics

On the linked pages, statistical information is provided on offenders in the custody of, or supervised by, the Florida Department of Corrections. This information is organized in two main sections:

• Inmates in Prison (Includes admissions, current population, releases and Death Row.)
  
  
• Offenders Under Community Supervision (Includes admissions, current population and releases.)

The statistics reflect demographic characteristics as well as aspects of the offenders' criminal histories.

Some offense categories differ slightly from previous reports due to changes in the database and the creation of new offenses.
