Offenders on Supervision
On December 31, 2002, there were 154,559 active or active-suspense offenders on community supervision.
Types of Supervision (December 31, 2002)

The majority of those on supervision in December were convicted of a property (35.0%) or drug (26.9%) offense.
In December
- 6,849 offenders were admitted to supervision
- 2,063 successfully completed their supervision
- 3,111 had supervision revoked for a new offense (34.7%) or technical violation (65.3%)
