Offenders on Supervision
On March 31, 2003, there were 153,100 active or active-suspense offenders on community supervision.
Types of Supervision (March 31, 2003)

| Pre-Trial Intervention | 8,003 | 5.2% |
| Post Prison Release | 5,537 | 3.6% |

The majority of those on supervision in March were convicted of a property (34.9%) or violent (27.4%) offense.
In March:
- 8,409 offenders were admitted to supervision
- 2,425 successfully completed their supervision
- 3,924 had supervision revoked for a new offense (33.1%) or technical violation (66.9%)
