Number of New Placements During the Year

This is a count of the total number of placements during the fiscal year. It may include duplicate observations per offender.

Number of New Offenders Placed During the Year

This is a count of the total number of new offenders who were placed during the fiscal year. This number is unduplicated by offender within supervision/monitoring type.

Number of Different Offenders Active During the Year

This is a count of the total number of offenders who were supervised/monitored at any given time during the fiscal year. It is computed by taking the population enrolled in the program on July 1^st and adding to it any offenders who were placed during the fiscal year. This number is unduplicated by offender within supervision/monitoring type.

Number of Offenders Active on June 30^th

Also referred to as a status population, this is the actual number of offenders being supervised/monitored on the last day of the fiscal year.

Participation

Participation data are based on placement events, regardless of the type of program outcome.

Absconder

Offender absconds from supervision; the whereabouts are unknown and the court issues a warrant for violation of supervision.

Revocation

Offender is terminated from supervision for failing to meet one or more requirements.

Successfully Completed

Offender completes supervision per the terms/conditions required.

Reduced Sentences

Offender, for a variety of reasons, is placed on a less stringent form of supervision or monitoring.

Still Active/Other

Offender is still being monitored/supervised per the required conditions or had an outcome other than those previously described.

Workload

The enrollment data for a particular supervision / monitoring type during a given time period.
