Institutions at zero in both quarters, allowing no room for improvement, receive the highest ranking (1) on this measure. Those making a 100% reduction will also rank at the top, behind those showing no room for improvement. return...

These data are not reported quarter by quarter. Unannounced Security Audits are only conducted every other year and in alternating years with comprehensive Operational Reviews. The data reported represent non-compliance on the two most recent audits and may span a period of four years. The data only represent a snapshot of performance on the day the audit was conducted. Security standards found to be in non-compliance must be expeditiously addressed by institutional staff. The "Change" reported demonstrates movement between the two most recent Unannounced Security Audits. return...

Calculations exclude security standards which are directly tied to budget and resources. return...

Rankings have been determined based on size and direction of the Institution's absolute change, relative to that of all other Institutions, and using a double Performance Threshold of 3% or less, meaning those who performed at or below 3% non-compliance on both audits receive higher rankings than those who failed to meet the Performance Thresholds. return...

Rankings have been determined based on the size and direction of the Institution's absolute change, relative to that of all other Institutions, and using a Performance Threshold of 0.85 or less per 100 inmates in the most recent period of assessment. The Threshold is set at the statewide average for the quarter and will be adjusted quarterly. Institutions at zero in both time periods, allowing no room for improvement, receive the highest ranking (1) on this measure. Institutions with a 100% reduction will also rank at the top, behind those showing no room for improvement. return...

Rather than comparing the two most recent Quarters, this measure compares the same Quarter of the two most recent Fiscal Years in order to account for cyclical differences inherent to an academic calendar. return...

The Threshold is set at the statewide average for the quarter and will be adjusted quarterly. return...

Rankings have been determined based on the size and direction of the Institution's absolute change, relative to that of all other Institutions, and using a Performance Threshold of 0.55 or more per 100 inmates in the most recent period of assessment. The Threshold is set at the statewide average for the quarter and will be adjusted quarterly. return...

Rather than comparing the two most recent Quarters, this measure compares the same Quarter of the two most recent Fiscal Years in order to account for seasonal differences that would impact changes seen in Quarter to Quarter comparisons. return...

This measure is included for informational purposes only. Therefore, rank is not reported. return...

Rankings have been determined based on the size and direction of the Institution's absolute change, relative to that of all other Institutions, and using a Performance Threshold of 17.05 or less in the most recent Quarter of assessment. Institutions at or below 17.05 inmates per volunteer at the time of the most recent assessment receive higher rankings on this measure than those not performing at this level. The Performance Threshold will be adjusted to correspond with the statewide average number of inmates per volunteer each quarter. return...
