TABLE 5A: CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS PROGRAM ENROLLMENT DATA, BY FISCAL YEAR
- During the three-year period of this report, 766 unique inmates had enrolled in CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS programs.
- Program enrollment has steadily increased for all types of enrollments (new enrollments, new inmates, different inmates, and the June 30th enrollment). The respective enrollments for FY 1997-98 were 167 (new enrollment events), 138 (new inmates), 138 (different inmates), and 84 (6/30 enrollment), compared to FY 1999-00 which had respective enrollments by type of 758, 604; 766, and 532.
- The three-year average for each respective type of enrollments was 253, 201; 255; and 177.

- In FY 1999-00, 336 unique inmates were served, with 310 new enrollments events, and 107 inmates being enrolled in DUAL DIAGNOSIS on 6/30/2000.
- For FY 1999-00, of the two facilities that offer this program, Zephyrhills had by far the largest number of unique inmates enrolled in CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS, with each respective type of enrollment being 222, 175, 230, and 64.

- The CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS SUCCESS RATE for the only fiscal year reported (FY 1997-98, due to recent start-up of program [in July 1997]) was 47.0%.

- The overall SUCCESS RATE across both facilities for FY 1999-00 was 28.59.6%.
- About one-fourth (23.1%) of the outcome events in this fiscal year were administrative.
- In FY 1999-00, Broward CI had the highest SUCCESS RATE (based on enrollment events) at 42.0% (29 out of 81).
