
Program Name: In-Prison Intensive Outpatient Program (Licensed by Department of Children and Families and 65D-30)
Program Duration: Nine (9) to twelve (12) months (depending on individualized treatment needs)
Program Description: The program is focused on changing drug-abuse and criminal behaviors of program participants with histories of substance abuse and developing the social skills necessary for the program participants’ successful re-entry into society.
Recipients: Inmates housed in the Florida department of Corrections who have been mandated for substance abuse participation.
Criteria for admission: Mandated Program Participant; Within 36 months of release date; Priority Ranking Number.
Institutional: The programs are implemented in various Department of Corrections institutions throughout the state.
