The primary focus of the Re-entry Seminars are to provide inmates with valuable information regarding employment opportunities, community resources, social services, housing, food, et cetera to ensure a smooth transition back to their respective communities.
Federal, State and local entities are invited into the prisons and upon security clearance provide inmates with specific information relating to their services.
Each guest speaks for 10-15 minutes giving an overview of their agency and the services they provide. Inmates have the opportunity at the end of the seminars to ask the guest questions.
Inmates are also given information related to the subject matter for future reference.
If you would like to be a guest speaker at a Re-Entry Seminar, please contact the Assistant Warden of Programs at the designated institution.
