The writer expressed her appreciation for the compassion and kindness expressed to her by Sgt. M. Harden when she called one evening to inquire if her nephew was still at NWFRC. The writer, who herself had spent 36 years as a public servant in Alabama, stated the actions of Sgt. Harden along with the prompt and courteous responses to earlier e-mails she had sent to the facility was indicative of a facility and staff committed to treating the public with respect and kindness.

01/27/11 A student at Bethel Village gives thanks to the 14-4 Panama City East Probation and Parole Staff This note was sent from an individual identified as only a “student” at the Bethel Village, a home affiliated with the Panama City Rescue Mission housing homeless mothers and their children. A food drive was conducted between Thanksgiving and Christmas by the 14-4 Panama City East Probation and Parole Staff to help those in need. This is yet another example of the character of our staff and how they make a difference every day.

Price, Officer J. Barfield and Officer C. Alexander from Warden T. Jeter. These men apprehended two armed suspects after an intensive search.
