Sentence Structure Unit

The Sentence Structure unit represents the department in litigation initiated by inmates challenging the execution of their sentences in the state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate levels.  This unit also provides legal advice to department heads and staff on all population management and sentence structure issues, including early release and gain time.
