The Southern Conference on Corrections annually explores a range of topics concerning crime and corrections. This year's conference will include poster sessions (i.e. information sharing). The poster sessions will enable a greater variety of presentations and informational exchanges.

General Information

Registration: Registration will take place at the Orlando North Hilton and Towers, Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The conference will adjourn by 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Registration Fee: $65.00 (Students $25.00) - Registration includes two continental breakfasts and one lunch. Registration fees will not be refunded after May 15, 1996. Refunds must be requested in writing. Registrations will be on a first come, first served basis, up to the MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF 250 REGISTRANTS.

Hotel Reservations: Reservations should be made directly with the Orlando North Hilton and Towers, 350 South North Lake Boulevard, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32715, by May 15, 1996. For reservations call 1-800-HILTONS or FAX to (407) 830-9378, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Early reservations are encouraged. Please state that you are attending the Southern Conference on Corrections. The rate is $55 per night (single or double) and can be extended through the weekend, based upon availability. The sponsors are not responsible for any cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or hotels. Check in time is 3:00 p.m. Reservations will not be held beyond 6:00 p.m. unless guaranteed by credit card or advance deposit. To avoid being charged for a guaranteed reservation, cancellation must be received before 6:00 p.m. on date of arrival.
