TALLAHASSEE - Secretary of Corrections Michael Moore is pleased to announce the following appointments:

Denise White, from warden of Gainesville Correctional Institution (CI) to warden of Dade CI in Florida City. White joined the Department of Corrections in 1984 and was warden of Gainesville CI since September 1999.
Carl Kirkland, from assistant warden of Walton CI in DeFuniak Springs to warden of Century CI in Century (Escambia County.) Kirkland joined DOC in 1962 and was assistant warden of Walton CI since October 1999.
Greg Riska, from assistant warden of Region II in Lake Butler to warden of Gainesville CI. Riska joined DOC in 1975 and was assistant warden of Region II since September 1999.

The appointments are effective immediately. Institutional regional directors will coordinate reporting dates.
