DOC Puts Virtual Cellblock
Tour on Website
TALLAHASSEE - Anyone with access to the internet can now see the inside of a Florida prison.
The Florida Department of Corrections today posted a virtual prison and cellblock tour on its website at www.dc.state.fl.us. The tour allows internet users to see the inside of a prison and various cells and cellblocks - including a Death Row cell at Florida State Prison.
"The virtual tour will answer numerous inquiries from the public and press about what prison cells look like," Secretary of Corrections Michael Moore said. "It also reflects our philosophy of providing as much insight into our institutions as possible. The tour enhances an already outstanding website."
