PUNTA GORDA - An inmate attacked a correctional officer at Charlotte Correctional Institution Monday morning.
Inmate Terry Grimes
attacked Sgt. James Hansen at approximately 9:00 am. Inmate Grimes was ordered to stop loitering at the canteen line and told to return to the recreation yard.
