Message from Secretary Moore
to All Employees

This is to advise you that I will be staying as the Secretary of the Florida Department of Corrections. Mr. Gary Johnson was appointed as Executive Director for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice today. I have known Gary Johnson for a long time and I know he will do a great job for the State of Texas. I wish him every success.

I am looking forward to continuing to serve as your Secretary. Again, I want to thank Governor Bush for his support and for the opportunity to participate in this process.
