Discovers a Firearm

TALLAHASSEE - Inmate Terry Ivey DC# X05248, discovered a loaded .38 caliber pistol while working on an outside work squad from the Berrydale Forestry Camp. The loaded weapon was found at approximately 9 a.m. in the area of Avalon Road, South of I-10 in Milton. Inmate Ivey gave the weapon to the supervising correctional officer who called the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office. The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and is continuing the investigation.
