Certain Non-Essential Staff in Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties to Be Sent Home
Certain Department of Corrections non-essential employees in Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties are being sent home today, Monday, November 09, 2009 because of Hurricane Ida.
Community Corrections – Non-essential staff are to be sent home today at Noon (CST) due to Hurricane Ida. This should be documented as administrative leave. Employees should contact their supervisors later this afternoon to determine if they should report to work tomorrow. Individual office closures will be determined by the Region I Director for Community Corrections.
Institutions - Non-essential staff can be approved on a case-by-case basis by the warden for work today. If leave is granted the employee should contact their supervisors later this afternoon to determine if they should report to duty tomorrow.
