Bad April Fools Day for this Naples Probationer:
Probation Officers Remove Half a Kilo of Cocaine from the Streets
Cocaine found in offender’s home, packaged for sale.
It was no April Fools joke when Naples Probation Officers Kim Polly, Renee Steuver and Supervisor Rich Goguen conducted a routine search of Offender Greg Villanueva’s home on April 1, 2010.
During the search they discovered half a kilo of cocaine with an estimated street value of $15,000. But it gets worse for the hapless Villanueva. While at the home, Supervisor Goguen located a receipt with Villanueva’s signature for a $400 diamond earring purchased in another county, which the offender was wearing at the time of the search of his home. This discovery led to an additional charge of leaving the county without permission.
Villanueva was serving two and a half years on probation for driving with a suspended or canceled license.
Villanueva is now a resident of the Collier County jail, where he has a violation of probation pending.
Cocaine packaged for sale and drug paraphernalia in evidence bags.
