“You Brought WHAT to the Probation Office?!" 06-2 New Port Richey Search Results
By: CPSS Manny Correa 06-2
When Joshua Henderson showed up at the 06-2 New Port Richey office for his regular community control check in, he brought more than his weekly schedule. He had in his pocket a switchblade.
After being questioned as to why he had it on his person, he was asked if there were any weapons at his residence. His reply, “a shotgun.” With consent and law enforcement back up, Officers Jeff Deremer, Cliff Williams and Jason Beldon went to the offender’s residence where the offender told them where the shotgun was located. A search of the residence revealed a combat type shotgun, two handguns, one of which was confirmed to be stolen, ammunition, electronic scales, crack cocaine, marijuana and $500 cash. The offender admitted that the cash came from selling drugs. All of the evidence was seized and held at the Pasco Sheriff’s evidence room.
The picture below shows the seized items. The pipe in this picture tested positive for marijuana. The crack cocaine is visible left center.
