Re-Entry Transition Fair at West Palm Salvation Army
On Friday, January 29, 2010, the Florida Department of Corrections, County Commissioner Priscilla A. Taylor and the West Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission’s Weed and Seed program will be hosting a Re-Entry Transition Fair at the Salvation Army located at 600 N. Rosemary Avenue, West Palm Beach from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The purpose of the Re-Entry Transition Fair is to assist those on supervision with their re-entry into society by helping them find jobs and housing, and connecting them to local resources for health care, education, etc.
While the Re-Entry Fair is focused on assisting citizens on state probation in Palm Beach County, the general public is encouraged to attend.
Local businesses, health care providers, educational institutions and community resource organizations will be in attendance or will have applications available.
There will be video and audio opportunities for reporters as well as interviews with probation officials.
