Welcome Secretary Buss

Edwin Buss became the Eighth Secretary of the Florida Department of Corrections. Buss, with more than 24 years of Corrections experience, officially began his duties Monday, February 14, 2011. A brief transition ceremony was held in Tallahassee to honor retiring Secretary Walt McNeil. Former Secretary McNeil was presented with a Retired Secretary's Badge and a Coin of Excellence from Secretary Buss and Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels.
